Hendrix eyes a fifth straight win over Austin in SCAC play

Hendrix has owned this series lately, winning four straight and seven of the ten meetings since 2013, and Austin has not beaten the Warriors since October 2019. That history lines up with where Versus has both programs now. Hendrix sits 125th in D3 overall and carries a B- grade in both offense and defense, while its own conference standing has it at No. 2 in the SCAC after a result that snapped a longer drought against another league opponent.

Austin has been trending the other direction on paper. The Kangaroos are 196th in D3 overall with a D grade across the board, and their offensive rank of 186th and defensive rank of 201st both trail Hendrix's figures of 96th and 106th. Still, Austin has improved its Versus power rating in each of the last three weeks and enters at No. 3 in the SCAC, so this is not a team standing completely still.

This is a conference matchup for both sides. Versus projects Hendrix to win 38-18, giving the Warriors an 88 percent chance to extend the streak and keep the series lopsided for another year.
